At the moment we live at Chapeltown, and wanting to move house, we do quite like Millhouses, what is it like, what do people think, where are the best houses. the houses do look better overall, than at chapeltown. we probably could spend £200,000.ish.
probably that would be the limit.
if anyone lives there if they can give me any feedback???

200k for a house in Millhouses? You'll be lucky...a Semi will set you back at least 350k.

I've taken the liberty to search RightMove - and here are my findings: Millhouses - 3 bed semi property for around 200k. (http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b157/kentboy/millhouses200.png)

And you say a property for 350k? - No, but Whirlow fits the bill. (http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b157/kentboy/millhouses350.png)

Pass, my knowledge of your city is comparable to my knowledge of farming - although, I know it better than I did a year ago.

Millhouses is in the ward of Ecclesall, and like the other districts in that ward, is affluent, quiet and cosy.

However, I do know that my cat shares the name of that road.

My boss presently lives in Millhouses but she says as the local school is about 80% ethnic (I don't know how else to put it) they're moving away because she feels the kid's education is suffering. Don't have a rant at me, I'm just telling you what she's told me

If she means secondary school, she might mean Abbeydale Grange? Plenty of kids from Millhouses get into Silverdale and High Storrs though.

Millhouses in my opinion ia bordered roughly by Millhouses Lane/Button Hill/Springfield Rd.
Oliver rd in Millhouses? I used to have a mate living there and they called it Ecclesall or CarterKnowle.

What are you trying to say, Chapeltown is full off scrubbers. I dont think so.
Before We moved to Chapeltown I lived in small village Harley. take a look at that before you slag anyone off!!

Came through the area today and spotted a few houses for sale, one that caught my attention was on Stowe Avenue sold by Property Plus for approx £210 000. I've got friends in that area and they really like it and it's in the cachement area for Silverdale.
