View Full Version : Which away game will the Blades go to next season if we go down?

Let’s be honest, it was a good turnout from our cross-city friends today, in what has been a season when their away following has generally been pitiful.

So who will be the beneficiaries of their money next season if we go down, will it be the good people of Doncaster or Barnsley who will have the dubious pleasure of witnessing supporters jumping onto disabled people and throwing flares into their own supporters, or will they travel further for their annual day out?

We've got a higher average away attendence than you so what does that make your away support? Come on titty, you don't even go to the home matches so give it a rest !!!

Got your half price ticket for the Palace match yet?

240 at Cardiff for a vital play-off game (photo to remind you), 700 at barnsley so I don't think so.

I don't need one lad, I've got my Season Ticket for this season and next but thanks for your concern.

Shouldn't you be more concerned about your own fickle support this season at home? Mr Strafford clearly has been concerned about it... Still, you have your annual high last day of the season home turnout to come, so that's nice for you :) And if Leeds do come up, you'll be the biggest Yorkshire team in League 1 next season if your players complete their mission...

hope you enjoyed having a big away crowd at your ground, iv heard yeovil bournmouth and rochdale only bring about 150 so you will be in trouble, then when you take your 15k average strap on will be putting you in administration.

Enjoyed the atmosphere and agree with Blackwell when he indicated he wanted the game again next season.

Not the point of the thread though, I'm curious to know which game you lot will target next season for a big following.

I went to the Barnsley game and would be obliged if you could point me in the direction of where you obtained your information from with regards to the figure of 700 away supporters or is it just a pure fabrication on your part with the intention to get a rise as normal.

Well I have preferred the Barnsley game over the Wendies game for the last few seasons. Away at Barnsley is my favourite away game all season, so that will stay the same.

We didnt do to bad the previous year shows what a bit of success can do.

Wolves..............2808.9
Sheff Utd...........2316.3

Also love AltyOwls comments with regards to the above startling revelation

We've always had great away support, so I'm actually surprised United have got more than Wednesday's average away support. Oh well, we'll overtake you home and away support next season.

Here we are as of this morning.

Once again Titanic you show what a complete waste of time your baited posts are.
You aim to create a hornets nest , then you usually disappear for a few days!
Should the question not be ..What game will the Owls consider their big game next season.? Barnsley? Donny? nooooooooooooo they are likly to be playing at a higher level!!! now for that alone you should hang your head in shame.

As for away support, how many away games have you been to this year ?

Where has it been shown supporters jumping in to the disabled? i under stand only one Blade fell in to fellow supporters and am certain he did not target anyone disabled or not!!

Same for the flares , idiotic at worst , a miss aim at best, am sure it would have been directed at the pitch rather than targeted at a fellow Blade.

Your baited, alarmist nonsence of a post shows you again to be rather sad, i am all for banter and have my faults but sir never do i or will i use shock or hit and run tactics.

Just noticed that to average strapfers 25000 they have to get a crowd of 122474 against Palace PMSL
So much for the sleeping giant LOL
Big games? Dingles, Donny, Norwich, spit spit hellon Rd Scum, Millwall or even Huddersfield

I wonder how many away games he will go to next year can you do negative numbers?

No need for that response when I was only commending your supporters on their travelling numbers to Hillsborough and posing a question as to what you would do next season if we are relegated.

Crikey what will the Forum thought Police think of next time.

BTW I’ve been working and playing Golf after work (84 and 85 at Tapton), hence the delay in responding.

Either way flares should not be allowed in the ground.

Mini skirts yes.
