Obviously got to wait till someone who actually went to the match posts on here but how was his goal ?
Heard it was from 20 years out and into the top corner :o
Owls will say it was a cross :hihi:
Blades will say brilliant piece of skill :hihi:

Definite fluke, heard Williamson admit it on Radio Sheffield afterwards.

Easily preventable by having a man on the far post but maybe that's just too radical for our defence to comprehend.

blatently didnt shoot - put it in a dangerous area but dropped in off the post

every free kick we had out wide etc we pumped straight at ur keeper, shows what you get for putting the ball in the right area's ...

yep, flukiest goal hillsborough has seen for a while, no chance he even thought about a shot but they all count, a man on the far post would of sorted it but oh well

surprised there's no attendance threads already ... we only got just over 35,000 - terrible :hihi:

It was a fluke, but fair does a free kick from there should always be hit to the far post.

Wednesday and United just showed how poor both teams are.

Credit to O'Connor, he's not the greatest player, but he worked his socks off, covering grass other players should have been.

Yeah, it was a good cross from the freekick that was defended terribly!

Similar to Tudgay's winner last season - if the other team aren't going to do everything to defend it properly, then if you hit it in the right area, every so often one will fly in :)

we are terrible at set pieces, every one just straight into the keepers hands

at least tudgay meant to shoot though:hihi: they all count though, better defending should of stopped it though:(

Crazy goal, it took the Blades fans a good 3 seconds to realise it went in.
Fairish result i thought we were **** poor in the second half and never looked like scoring.

not the sharpest bunch around are they!!

was very suprised how quiet they were as well, usually make quite a bit of noise to be fair, but didn't really come to life till they scored

Our defence has been good at that at times as well this year, well, through my lifetime if the truth be told ;)

It wasn't just wide though, it was nearly a corner it was that deep!

if you think that the owls deserved to win that match your crazy draw was about right its about getting that bag of air into that goal

Gi or...The kop was deafening. Wednesdayites support today was fantastic, those players don't deserve our support.

Yer right Merv,a draw was fair, for 10 mins after your goal there was only you going to score again,Hendo's a big lad int he,then we shades last 10,its just that we were a lot more disapointed with a point than you.

luckiest goal ever!.. was never a shot but our crap defending allowed it to go in. As for that little ginger ***** quinn, he's lucky he didn't get a boot in the face from the kop for his celebration. Him and Morgan looked like something out of the Adams family.

i was sat on the front row of the bottom tier and the view was horrific, the reason why there was a delay in celebration was for a couple of reasons 1) no-one can bloody see cos it a crap stand and too flat to get a good view and B) as the ball was heading towards the goal myself and everyone around me heard a whistle that sounded identicle to a refs whistle so we all thought that he had pulled it back for an infringement- it was only when we saw the players running away and celebrating we realised it had been given.

But if it had been toogay scoring to level it then it would have been the best goal ever scored in sheffield derby history :hihi::hihi::hihi:

not really, it's still jumping on the bandwagon whatever league your in or are you saying the extra fans that appeared when you started doing well are loyal fans because you was in the top end of championship/prem?

No...........

And if you don't think there is a big difference between bandwaggon jumpers wanting to see Chelsea, Man utd etc to the ones who come to watch Bournmouth, Rochdale etc just because their team is winning I can't help you.

One lot do it not expecting to win but to watch the best players there is.
The other lot do it just cos they are winning against anybody.
