Hiya
I know that there used to be a 2600 group based in Sheffield but I can't find any references to it any more. Does anyone know if it still exists and if so where it can be found?
Ta
PS if you don't know what a 2600 group is, it is usually a group of "Hackers" in the old sense as opposed to the new, media based, sense.

That kind of thing, working out better ways to do things and ways to short cut existing processes.
Having said that, 2600 tends to focus on security based things.

That is what I'm interested in but you can learn a lot from black and grey hats.
There is, or used to be, a fellow who post(s)(ed) on uk.telecom with news on a Manchester 2600 group. Can't remember how much info that post gave and whether it'd offer any leads for you?
