I am genuinely wondering why so few 2nd PC games are sold here on SF in the classified section, I nearly always buy second hand and used to buy mine in town but there are less options. Surely, people still want to sell them, I have been looking out for COD 5 at a cheap price here for ages but no luck. I am aware a fair few now need activiation, etc and are tied to one owner but not all games are.

there is a fair few Xbox games on sale here though, so why the difference?

I think probably XBox, PS3 and illegal downloads have taken their toll. Not many people buy PC's for games anymore.

Er, games like Empire Total War or Stalker sell well, there are plenty on ebay, why not here?

I had loads of pc games nobody wanted them so i gave them to a junk shop.the problem with pc games they go out of date quickly.the pcs get faster and the games you have got are no good for the faster pcs.

Its because alot of PC games are now purchased online and downloaded.. systems such as Steam help with this, and can in turn help prevent as much piracy as possible, and those that are pirated cannot be played online..

You can buy COD 5 from here for £3.99 cjs-cdkeys.com Not sure on where you download the game from as you only buy the license key, but when I bought my Bad Company key from them you downloaded the game directly from EA.

Maybe people don't have games to sell.

Yeah, us PC gamers buy them, and keep them, console gamers buy them, play them, get bored and sell or swap them, thats the problem with console games they aren't very "keepable" ;)
