hi has anyone been 2 one or both of these and which would u take a 13 year old boy, or do u no anyother places 2 go thanks

not been to the deep but york dungeons is great and I'd say he was at a good age for it too. I would visit the dungeons a second time thats how much we enjoyed it.

My lads are 13 and 10 and the love the dungeons. They enjoyed The Deep as well but I was a bit disappointed with it to be honest. Its a long way to go and you can walk around it in no time.

Our childminding group went last summer to the Deep with children ranging in ages from 0 to 14, everyone had a great time.

The deep is fantastic, and the huge shark is fantastic but like already said you could walk round in 15 mins my 4 year old loved it but I think he would prefer york dungeons, hell i'd like to go lol!

I'm not a big fan of The Deep either. Never been to the Dungeons. What about theme parks Alton Towers, Flamingo Land, Drayton Manor etc.

I've been to both. The dungeons were great, but it depends on their nature really, if they are easily scared and affected by it then I wouldn't take them, but at 13 I'd imagine they should be ok, they're old enough to understand its play acting (and get a history lesson at the same time!)
I really really liked the deep, but I imagine could be a bit 'young' for a 13 year old unless they are interested in fish or the oceans. Not sure how anyone finished it in 15 minutes, did you run? :confused: We were there all day and had to drag the kids out at the end!

We went to the Deep last year and enjoyed it but had 3 year olds with us, might not be as interesting I guess for 13 year olds.
