What about the Gypsy Queen? I've been there a few times, and mostly the food has been decent-ish.

there's a family room at the angel in woodhouse, but I've not been in ages.

there's a pub obver the road from McDs at drakehouse (forget what it's called, but it's your usual chain thing. Bit dark and uninviting to kids really)

The Ridgeway arms used to be very nice... Used to love it when I was a kiddy... Went earlier on in the year and it was crappy... Don't know if its gotten any better though! Cheap too...

Seconded, apart from the time when they served me a pie and salad :suspect:

The pub near KFC on the retail park is also ok. I think it's called the Millstone?

Salad and gravy? :o That's just wrong. I'll withdraw my earlier recommendation! :gag:

To be fair, I've eaten there a few times and it's the only time they've made such a mistake. They did sort it out for me without a fuss too. I think it might have been a trainee putting the meals together that night.
