Hi, I have a similar board, an Asus A7N8X.

I assume that you're running XP. IIRC, the support for USB 2 is provided by Microsoft. Have you installed SP2 and downloaded the updates from Windows Update?

The disk I have does come with USB2 software but contains only the Microsoft Patch refered to as Q312370 which is included in SP1 I believe. See: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;312370&sd=tech

umm... the USB drivers DO come with the nForce2 drivers if I remember correctly... I have the exact same mobo and I dont use my Asus CD when I'm re-installing my drivers...

and I re-install windows a lot so I'm pretty certain they're in the nForce drivers from www.nvidia.com :?

Are you sure?

It was on the UTILITIES page (great place to put a graphics driver!)

Im assuming the above poster has linked you up, but really you have the internet! Why didnt you just go to the asus homepage?

because I've installed those drivers from ASUSs page, and from nVidias page, and I have updated to SP2, and nothing is making my USB ports pick up as USB2.

The reason I posted it here was that I needed it super duper quick, but it seems the problem has still not been resolved (thanks for the help n all tho)
