I saw the last 50 miles or so of this race, did anyone else see it?
Those cobble looked tough to ride over, I dread to think how many punctures there must have been.
But how fantastic was Fabian Cancellara? Stormed away like a train with about 30 miles to go, and no-one looked like getting anywhere near him. He finished with an average speed of about 40kph, not bad considering the rad conditions and the fact he was in the saddle for about 6.5 hours!
And "chapeau" to Hammond too, fab ride from him. (Was it 4th place, ahead of Tom Boonen?)
