Does anybody know if point deductions count in fixed odds betting. Ive had a all season bet and have only got southampton letting me down. without the deduction they would be 2 points in front of colchester and my bet would be going in. Any help forumers? (p.s i know i'm clutching at straws here lol)

The bets will be paid out on final number of points, which will of necessity take into account the deduction. If Southampton had ten docked and finish on 40-that-would-have-been-50, the bets will be settled on 40.

If it were my bet, then even knowing it's a loser I would still take it in and ask them to check, so don't just take my word for this. If Southampton, post-deduction, is all that has brought the bet down, take it in and get it checked.

HN is probably right, unless the rules have changed in recent times. I missed out on a whopper of a payout when Chesterfield got nine points deducted a few years ago. Three out of four on the handicap list in a Lucky 15. Without the points deduction Chezzy would have won on the handicap giving the full four, and a big payout, plus the bonus.

I still won handsomely from the treble, doubles and singles, but that darned elusive fourth .....
