I use it as my default setting to connect to the internet recently when I click on the icon nothing happens when I try internet explorer that works fine.without any problem any ideas how to fix it.

It could be loading but running in the background. The task manager will tell you this via Ctrl + Alt + Del

If it keeps doing this uninstall and re install firefox BUT before you do download and set up xmarks which is a free bookmark sync service so when you re install you can download xmarks again and then get them all back. It's an addon which you can search for

I've had some problems with Firefox the last few days, when I click on a link it opens a "save as" dialogue box and some pages are displaying in a strange layout, its a pain in the ass.

we had problems with firefox, getting slower and slower and not responding, in the end switched to google chrome which seems faster and simpler.

I assume you don't have one of the ALT keys stuck down on your keyboard :P (ALT+click is "save as")

Sorted it, let CCleaner empty the temporary internet folder instead of just clearing recent history through Firefox's own menu.

it cud be a broken or corrupt link, if the program icon has changed then it may be

or u cud install google chrome which is far better
