View Full Version : Best Place in Sheffield for Sushi ? jamesconner3 09-04-2010, 15:53 whats the best place in sheffield for sushi? doesnt matter how far or where, anywhere in sheffield or close to sheffield.. neeeeeeeeeek 09-04-2010, 16:08 Place on Campo Lane or the little place on London Road, on the right as you go out of town, it's very small and sort of on the corner. I can't remember what it's called! slimsid2000 09-04-2010, 16:10 Yo-sushi at Meadowhall. [Matt] 09-04-2010, 16:51 Yo-sushi at Meadowhall....is crap. Sakushi on Campo lane is far superior... http://bit.ly/dqdphr mel77 09-04-2010, 17:00 Wasasabi on London Rd does the best sushi in my opinion. did used to go to Yo Sushi! at M'hall but its gone down hill and the portion sizes have got much smaller dnairn8417 09-04-2010, 18:35 Yo sushi is a waste of time, Wasabsabi is very good havent tried the one on camp Lane.. GothicCharm 10-04-2010, 06:14 sakushi is very nice. on campo lane Claret 10-04-2010, 07:49 Loads of threads on this - loads of debates. General opinion is Wasabisabi is best with Sakushi, Yama Sushi following in that order. Yo Sushi isn't really recommended though I personally think its a nice little treat after a morning/afternoon in Meadowhell. shpoolx 10-04-2010, 10:29 Yama-Sushi London Rd? Small place but had good sushi there consistently. medicgirl 11-04-2010, 15:39 Totally agree that Wasabisabi is the best. EdnaKrabappe 11-04-2010, 17:24 Not impressed with yo at all. Friend wanted to go there on Thurs so i went again. I felt like Mcdonalds put more pride into their food. Just don't feel it's nice. Sakushi is lovely and Wasabi sabi also lovely but more expensive. swordfish1 11-04-2010, 19:33 I'd say Yama Sushi and Wasabisabi on London Road and then Sakushi. In that order of preference for me. 430spider 11-04-2010, 20:02 Wasabisabi is excellent, but for my money Sakushi on Campo Lane has the edge. Has one of those conveyor belts that add a bit of fun to choosing. And they also deliver to your house. Brilliant salmon teriyaki. GQsm 13-04-2010, 17:51 Yama Sushi then Wasabisabi then Sakushi is the order for me. All are fine. Last visit to Wasabisabi was good but dropped it down the order for me as it cost more but wasn't any better than the other two. I normally have the Sashimi deluxe from there and last time it just wasn't as good as usual. Yo Sushi have a wide range of maki but it isn't cheap either and I would always go to one of the other three. kash1970 16-04-2010, 19:14 got to be Wasabisabi for me. |
