Hi, could someone recommend me a photo editing suite/software that I could purchase? Something not really difficult to use.

Fully featured and 100% FREE is 'The Gimp'

More basic but easy to use is 'Irfanview' also free.

Search the forum for links, or just google the names.

I'm sure lots more will soon be posted for you to choose from :)

Personally I've always used Paint Shop Pro's photo editing filters, they've always been pretty good for all the photo's i've had to work on... but I'm no proffesional photographer, although I am looking at getting myself a really nice new digital camera with a good optical zoom :D

PhotoPlus 6 (http://www.freeserifsoftware.com/software/PhotoPlus/default.asp) gets my vote if you want something free.
It's packed with features like gif editing too :)
