can anyone recomend any other software i can use other than itunes which is a pain when transfering music to ipod, thanx

There is software that will let you buy music off itunes without it being DRM crippled but as far as transferring music goes I think you've made your bed buy buying an ipod. You might want to look at the anti ipod thread from a f ew days ago.

Edit: I'm not sure "wanted" is the right place for this, I suppose it make a kind of sense though you might have more luck in Computer and Tech chat.

i was using some software but cant remember what it is, its just so i can transfer mp3s,from pc to ipod as i hate itunes.

You can get a plug-in for winamp to transfer music to ur ipod.
and its not made by Apple ;) so i guess there are 3d party applications available, have fun searching :thumbsup:

If you're Wintel based, have you tried Anapod?
