hi fallen, yes its the same dog, it was me who found it, my friend took him in, we notified everyone that we needed to notify, and liam was given permission to keep hm providing the owner didnt turn up, the poor dog had a lovely secure garden but he managed to jump over a six foot fence and escape.

Hmmm maybe the dog escaped for WWfans garden someone grabbed hold of him tied him up and left him so that he wasnt roaming around in case the owner was looking .... if this is the case it might not be the owners fault...

according to police and dog warden , the dog had not been reported missing previous to me finding him, so who knows ? i know if it was my dog that escaped in the first place, then i would have been on the phone and reported it.

ive been in touch with wwefan and the pound have told him hes got to pay £79 to get the dog back, (not really fair when he took the dog in off the street anyway ) how do they expect an 18 year old student to have that sort of money, it wasnt his fault that the dog scaled his garden fence which i know is well over 6 foot high.

o god that is ridiculous to say that he took it off the street anyway.but then i suppose if thats their usual protocol they can't really change it. hope he manages to get the dog back!

the dog is not legally is as he didnt have it for 28 days.. also the dog pound finders pack says you must ensure you keep this dog safe at all times as original owners could be looking for it.. as its not his dog by law he has to adopt him back- i dont think thats unreasonable at all

FallenAngel6
13-04-2010, 22:25
But surely once hes adopted it that dog is his? He'll have signed the papers. It seems a bit steep, some fee maybe but to re adopt the dog some people dont have that money so the dog will have lost a home.

the dog is not his though.... he hasn't adopted the dog.. the dog becomes his after 28 days legally and it wasnt 28 days- the pound currently has around 40 dogs in the pound.. how do you think they afford to pay for every single dog?? by adoptions and reclaims of dogs thats how.. its not unfair at all
