I know the feeling with the money, bank hols are only good when you have money to spend doing something.

No im not saying only money can make you happy, but everything costs today!

We've got friends coming up from Camebridge tommorow, so we will be showing them the delights of meadowhall (at their request) tommorow!

We were thinking of a trip to Pizza Hut Sunday, for the meal deal: £6.99 starter, individual pizza and a dessert! Yummy! Although will probably regret it when we get there and its full of SCREAMING BRATS!!!

On monday i think i will just cuddle up with my other half in bed all day, loving the fact that he doesnt have to go to work, and hating the fact that there wont be abother bank hol until x mas.

Out of interest, whats your Tribal Gatherings thing then? Sounds interesting.

Training for a new job Saturday & Sunday, and then I'm hoping the girlfriend will come stay Sunday night until Monday. Depends if she's off work on Monday or not :(

Can't wait for uni to start again. I hate spending time apart, so if she's not coming I'll spend all bank holiday weekend wandering around the house in a miserable mood :|

I'm gonna be moving into the spare room with the missus, ripping out all the fitted wardrobes, carpets and wallpaper (including on the ceilings!?) from the main bedroom.

Then it's a case of redecorating and getting it all ready in time for the carpet next week!

Don't ya just love bank holiday weekends... :gag:

Which one, Spyro - Ecclesall Rd ? :) I live near that one :)

Personally, this bank holiday I will spend most of the day propping my eyelids open with matchsticks.

New baby taking It's toll........:help: ;)

Clearing soon-to-be-ex-hubby's stuff out of another room in the house while he's on holiday (and yes, he knows!).

Feeling lonely and a total failure at life while I'm doing it.

Trying to tell myself that I'm 'moving on' and that this is a good thing.

Eating a 'meal for one' and cuddling the cats who remain uncondiitonally adoring, while watching Messiah

Well, it's definitely Bank Holiday. The Great Escape is on. It's like a Bank Holiday signature tune...
