I need to get to the bus stop on Tinkers Corner, edge of Bradway Road from Ecclesall. I have been trying route planners and bus timetables, but I don't know the names of the areas on the way there so I can't tell if I'm looking at the right buses. Does anyone know which I need please?
Thanks
By Bus - You need to get the 25A from town as you enter Bradway you'll see Dore and Totley Golf club on your left, Tinkers corner is 2 stops further down from there.
By Car - Up Ecclesall Rd to Parkhead, Left down Abbey Lane, at the Beauchief Hotel junction turn right... Straight on for 1/2 mile to Abbeydale Garden centre, 1st left up Twentywell, at the top turn right and you'll find Tinkers Corner about half a mile on.

Thanks - somoen at work has mentioned the No 75 bus from ecclesall is that wrong?
Hi, the 75 used to run to Bradway but it stopped a couple of years ago. Either 25 ( Yorkshire Terrier ) or 25A will get you to Tinkers corner.

Dammit! Thought I could get there from outside my house :(. Sorry to be a bother but do you know which busstop it is in town?
thanks x
Hello, the only bus stop I know of is the one outside Natwest on High Street. I hope this helps.
Pobby
The 25 and 25A runs from town (High Street / Peace Gardens / Moorfoot) via London Road, Chesterfield Rd, Woodseats, Meadowhead to Bradway.
The 293 runs from town (Arundel Gate / Moorfoot) via London Road, Abbeydale Road, Millhouses (Archer Rd), Greenhill.
From Ecclesall Rd you could get the 85 to Millhouses and change onto the 293 at the bottom of Carterknowle Rd.
Otherwise get a bus from Ecclesall into town, then 25/25A/293 out again.
One final option, which is much more obscure, it to get the 30 bus to Dore, and change onto the M17 which will drop you off at the junction of Prospect Rd/St Quentin Drive, just round the corner from Tinkers corner.
25 is operated by Yorkshire Terrier
25A is operated by First (www.firstgroup.com)
293 is operated by TM Travel (www.tmtravel.co.uk)
M17 is operated by Stagecoach (www.stagecoachbus.com)
Or go on www.transportdirect.info and you can enquire for locations/addresses/postcodes/areas and it works out options both by public transport and car, and shows the journey on a map too.
