I'm taking the folks out for their anniversary on Monday night. They're not really into the whole full restuarant thing, so wanting to take them to a pub that does really nice food.

Looking around North Sheff area (Ecclesfield, Chapeltown, High Green, Grenoside, etc.)

Anyone got any recommendations?

cheers

The Red Lion at Grenoside is a good choice-but then I would say that as its my local:)

But if youre looking for somewhere REALLY nice try the Ye Olde Mustard pot at Midhopestones. Its a little bit further out,but I can highly recommend it:clap:

Never eaten in the Norfolk Arms-infact ive not been in for a while(despite the fact its within spittin' distance from my house:rolleyes: )

Local legend has it that Marc Almond was once seen drinkin in there-never has the phrase "I'll have a pint of what he's drinking" seemed so unappealing:gag: :P

Thanks Rich, thought about trying this place before. Is it best to book in advance?
