Never noticed it until about a month ago. But 3 times in last 4/5 weeks police cars have been travelling, sirens on, up School Road, Crookes S10.

Two went up yesterday. Is this a new run the police have discovered for a short cut to wherever.

I think we should know as there are many aged and infirmed people in the area, myself being one, that maybe could not move out of way in time should a speeding police car be using the route.

In some areas of Sheffield this is a daily occurance, it sometimes happens two or three times a day.

Is there a good chippy somewhere on School Road ?

Old folk are fair game for police cars with their sirens going, - I'd suggest having castors fitted to their zimmer frames so they can more speedily get out of the way :D
