Who are the top5 ?

Both DaBouncer and Phan are both well ahead of me. DaBouncer is top I think - hence me voting him king of the forum. There used to be a top 15 posters list in the Members List section but it mysteriously vanished without a trace. Not sure about what others think, but I think it was a good feature worth keeping on.

The top posters feature was removed because certain users (such as t020) decided it was some form of competition to be the top poster. This resulted in many crap (excuse the French) posts being added to the forum in an effort to ramp total post numbers.

Not quite true Geoff. The original top posters section under the old "Site Statistics" section was when I made *1* post which was jokingly implying that I was posting to work my way up the ladder. The feature was THEN removed, and several months later, re-introduced as a top 15 chart in the "Members List" section, after which, nobody posted for the sake of it yet it was still removed.

I think it may be me, followed closely by Nomme.

When you say biggest you did mean in actual size didn't you?:P :D

If you're referring to who has the most posts.. it's probably me... show's I spend too much time around these parts!:thumbsup:

Pad counts mean nowt to me anyway, all they show is how active a user is. As Geoff pointed out its not a competition..

I hate post count whores, I've gotten into arguments on many other forums over the subject of people whoring their post counts.

I just think it's sad that's all that people think it's "cool" o have a large sequence of numbers under their username, the larger the better as far as they're concerned.

And yes I am aware that I myself have a large post count but do I care? No, I go for quality of posts over quantity like Mo says.

In Defence of DB, I have to say that his posts all seem to contribute something, and he's active in all the forum areas, not just Sheffield Chat and General Chit Chat.
