any advice please? when i turn on my pc it sometimes needs re booting before it will show my desktop,its only done this as of late.

i did a diagnostic and it said ie6 was damaged,re installed and it seems ok,but would ie 6 stop it booting up fully? or is it in need of an overhaul? thanx

Yep, a broken IE can break active desktop quite easily:(. Blame MS for making it such an integral part of the OS.


Just keep using the PC to see if the problem re-occurs. If it doesn't, your problem was IE related & is now fixed;). If it does.......panic:rolleyes:

Didn't mean it literally:D.

Just means things could get a little more "involved". Hopefully, though, all should be well (until the next MS SP;)).
