Sadly my little cavvie went into liver failure and died yesterday, he was only 3.
I've got a lot of dog food going spare and wondered if anyone could recommend a rescue centre that would take it - there's an unopened and an opened 15kg bag of dried food and a load of dentastixs.
I'm happy to drop it all off somewhere in Sheffield in the next week.

thanks
Han

Hi thats real kind of you
If you can only get to sheffield, I would pm Pets at Home - I'm sure he would appreciate it for some of his waifs and strays.
Sorry to hear about you loosing your little one - its very sad - especially when so young.

That's awful for you, little lad was so young too, bet you're devastated!
I too think that pets@home would benefit from your donation, he needs all the help he can get at the mo

3 is not very old, It is so sad when a pet dies, espeacially so when they are so young :(

I am sure a rescue would love the food and it's really nice of you to think of them :)

I am sorry to hear of your loss.

Our spaniel had to be pts just before her second birthday due to kidney failure.

Thankyou all for you kind words - the house feels very empty and quiet- I'm just so pleased I've spent the last week spoiling him rotten.

I'll send Pets@home a PM now, I'd like some other pups to benefit from the massive stash of grub and treats I've got.
