I want a penguin duplicator, but it has to be able to support both emperor and king standards and burn penguins at speeds up to - and including - 8x. Preferably it'd handle reading polar bears too (writing to blank polar bears isn't a priority though). Any ideas?

What you need is a Penguin Duplicator Pro. It burns at 24x and is backward compatible with the 4x earlier release. (The latest version also has the polar bear reading functionality.)

Try PC Medics on Halifax Road 2348080

Is the Disc House at the bottom of the Moor near Staples still open? They were good for that kind of thing.

But yeah, PC Medix. I live near there, and if I'm walking past I'll try and get a price for you :)

that place at the bottom of the moor is a real rip off! www.svp.co.uk sell duplicators... course you've still got to buy the drives after you've bought a duplicator... they're not cheap things to set up thats for sure

not to mention trading standards will definitly love you unless its 100% for business use or something :P

Duplication of penguins is copyrighted by Mcvitees !! you have been warned. Can't find any problem with polar bear piracy laws though so should be ok.

London Zoo have a breeding pair so you might want to try there for starters.

http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk/acatalog/duplicators.html as I said earlier, they sell 1, 3, 7 and 9 disc duplicators... and as I said, you still need to buy compatible drives afterwards... its not a cheap set-up, so unless your doing it for business uses I really wouldn't bother... and if it's not for business purposes I definitly wouldn't reccomend getting duplicator systems as its just asking for trading standards to come and take all your electrical goods and take you to court

and you do realise you cant just put a normal dvd in and copy it and expect it to work right? if your copying normal movies your going to have to use a PC to decrypt it first and use a decrypted copy...
