What about Dastardly and Muttley?

I loved Professor Pat Pending. I always wanted to be a mad scientist when I was little.

Muttley definitely, for the 'stifled' laughs as Dastardly's plans backfired.

Ha, ha, me too!

Although I was much more keen to look like her than to win any silly race! :)

And I always hoped Muttley would actually Win the Race (or Catch That Pigeon!) - with or without Dick Dastardly

Ant Hill Mob for me too. Hats, but no heads.

Is it just me... or do the Ant Hill Mob all sound like fellow forum members?

My vote goes to the Slag Brothers in their Boulder Mobile, though they never seemed to win.
You should have incorporated a poll, rudeboy.

"Biggup da Slag Bros in there Boulder Pimpride! Reeeespect!
You shoud of had o pole!"

(Just trying out a new autotranslator - it seems to work. Thinking of buying the full version for £14.99 which translates into fifty eight British dialects. Excellent!)

Always loved Red Max's car.Could never understand how he didnt win more races.Surely driving what was essentially a world war one fighter gave him an advantage?Or did I just take the whole show WAAAAAY too seriously?:suspect:

I remember one episode - from far away and long ago - when Penelope Pitstop got stuck in a deep hole in the ground.

And after a bit of girlie panicking, she climbed to safety by attatching chewing gum to the souls of her boots.

Now is that classy, or what?

By the way, my vote goes to the hairy cavemen who bashed each other over the head all the time with sticks.

Definitely the Ant Hill Mob.

A friend of mine was involved in a project to do a live action film of Wacky Races a few years ago, sadly I don't think it ever came to anything. They had some great casting ideas, although the only one I can remember was Robin Williams as Muttley (I think he may have mentioned Richard E Grant as Dick Dastardley)

Oooh, I'd pay to see Richard E Grant in a big hat! Make him do it Dan, make him!!

I'd have Alan Rickman as Dastardly with a CGI or Muppet Muttley.

Well, Rickman is best at playing baddies, look how he plays Snape in the Potter films.

Which don't suck before anyone starts.
