I saw a programme about unusual animal friends a few weeks ago which had this pair on it, along with an orang utan and dog pair of best buddies which in some ways was even cuter because if you give the orang utan anything to eat, she splits it in half and feeds half to the dog.

Oh i just love that gemima - aint it great to see

made me a bit happier tonight to know that there is a sanctuary around that allows the old elephants to get back to the wild n be safe too.

My partner used to have a Guide dog and also had a pet rat and they got on very well. The rat would take a ride on the dog's back when walking.:hihi:
