You could write all the courses on little bits of paper, fold them up, put them in a box and give them a good shake. The course you should do is the first one you pick out :D

Then when you phone the college to tell them which course you're interested in - they can tell you that it's full

Don't they have a list of courses that there are still places left on?

Anyone know a good place to do childcare/playworker course, ideally to work with children in an educational setting?

Cheers,

I would've been interested in the MS Visual Basic programming course at Hillsborough but £139 for the course, WTF?!

Honestly? You provide all the links and people still can't be bothered to look for themselves

Guess what Rich, that is a subsidised fee. The real cost per person would be something like £400. If you want a real shock ring a proper commercial IT training company like Phoenix, I'll bet they can charge you double that. :gag:

If you can only afford £12 then buy a "dummies" book.

Although someone who was seriously intersted in VB would probably spend at least £100 in reference books.

I have looked on the links u provided, was asking for a recommendation from someone whos actually done a course, rather than the colleges blowing their own trumpets!

Does anybody know if there is a plastering course available in Sheffield?

lewis123 posted advertising one in the city centre, but left no real details, or how to contact him, and I can't find the course at Sheffield college

Thanks

Hi,

Im not sure if this is the correct page for this but I am looking for part time courses available in sheffield.

I work full time but 12 hour shifts, I work 60 hours a week and then have 5 days off, trying to fill this gap I guess, and I am looking for something to better myself and my position at my job.

If anyone know of where these courses can be found please let me know.

Thanks
