I wonder why both Keef and Shane have let themselves go like that? I think Shane's decline in particular is a serious loss to popular music, as he wrote and sang some pretty good songs. They were both good looking guys in their prime also.

The ugliest person in Music I have ever seen is the Drummer from Scat opera. The poor unfortunate man has been in some kind of accident and looks like he has had his face burned and has no lips. He looks a bit like Eddie from Iron maiden. Just teeth like a skull

He's a great drummer though..

People! I can't believe none of you have mentioned Wacko Jacko yet. He was quite a handsome fella before he started tampering with what nature gave him, but now he looks as though his face is literally melting off!

Michelle from Pop Idol isn't much of a looker either. But technically I don't suppose she could really be classed as 'a face in music' so we'll let that one slide!

OMG, he was so beyond gorgeous as a young man (not that I remember him from that far back :o ) He was the template for all the best looking blokes in rock from then on :thumbsup:

And THE template for living the 'rock 'n roll life' - I don't think it's really worked for anyone else though - but somehow, that 'living cadaver' look suits Keef and makes him (and him alone) so much MORE of a legend.

As to the ugliest face in music, I would say Hearsay's Shrek but don't think he qualifies as music; so I'll go for Howard Devoto of the Buzzcocks and Magazine (sorry, Howard :( )

Yes, clearly Keef heads his own category of the "most dead" face in music.

For a fellow rock lead guitarist with a true face like a box of frogs, one need look no further than Slash. I am sure he cannot nip to the corner shop without leaving a trail of startled grannies and wilted daffodils in his wake.
