Does anyone know why Collina ruled Big Duncs goal out last night?

That decision has to be the most expensive refeering mistake ever.

Yeah I saw it. A bit harsh. It was a bit of both. The defender had hold of Bent's shirt. Their defense were all over Evertons players. Should have been about a million penalties.

Watched and was so gutted for them - my heart goes out to Everton fans as they were properly robbed last night!

So many free-kicks went against Everton - the majority of which were 50-50 at best, not to mention the non-foul that prevented the (perfectly legitimate) 2nd goal.

It really is a shame, as he used to be by far the best ref in the world... after that performance I'm wondering if he should have stuck with his choice to retire at the end of last season.

Near mind eh- least we got them in the group stages, should be a good game as well against Villareal.

It will be nice to see Diego back on his old stomping ground again :)

At least everton fans have the uefa cup to look forward to, if someone told them at the start of last season they'd be in the uefa they would have been more than happy with that.
