I went for a walk down ford valley and couldn't believe just how much rain they had had there...trees and walls had been completely washed away...

Fab pictures, went walking in local wood and was a river bed, no pictures though.

I have been going down ford for years and have never seen the water levels so high....an old dam had been completely washed away...we must have had some really heavy rain over the last few months

I took these the day after the Sheffield Flood. The water level had dropped a fair bit by the time I got down there. It makes you wonder what it was like in full flood.

The weir is the same one you took yours. The fish & bike were up near the stile you climb over just after the Square Fishing Pond near the car park. The carp was a monster. It may have been washed down from the Dam up Gear Lane.
