you need someone to tell you why its been closed? isnt it obvious from the threads content? i closed the origional as it was a blatant attempt to wind someone up and this person made a new thread to wind the other guy up, both threads were pointless and were only going to turn into arguments etc.

As hurstyowl says, threads aren't closed or removed for no reason and those who have their posts removed usually know exactly why their post was removed, even if they tell us that they don't know.

If you really need to know why a thread was closed and there's nothing on the thread then please contact the Helpdesk, but the first answer to the question is 'because it broke forum rules' and with the footie area in particular, the forum rules broken are usually to do with opposing fans insulting each other just too much to rescue the thread.
