Sheffield Yorkshire Hospitality (previously known as Baldfox) is great for catering, bar and kitchen porter work.

Depends what type of work you're looking for? Office work? Catering?

What can you do? What qualifications do you have?

Going to an agency and saying 'I would like some work' does not help, they have many like that every day.

However going to an agency saying for example 'I have worked in restaurants on and off for a few years, do you have any restaurant work' will help greatly.

Agencies get paid a lot of money. In return the client wants somebody who can easily do the job. The agency will ring up and say 'yes we have someone', the client will ask 'what is their experience'.

Find your market and approach each agency with that market. If they can't help ask them of an agency that will.
