I think blades fans should get real hes not going to get sack ! wotever the style of football hes done well with the team to still be up there near the top !

Not sure the blades can afford to sack him even if they wanted too - and it seems they dont and wont :P

Lets wait and see at the end of the season, many would have been happy to see him go after the play off final last season.

Why can't we afford to sack him? I'm sure we could come to some 'mutual agreement' like you lot did when Fat Simon Cowell was sacked.

i was one who wanted him to go at end of last season , will have to wait till the end of this season now . and i bet 100% he is not our manager become start of next season !

I hope you're right, Sean O'Driscoll or Ian Holloway for me, both are realistic alternatives.

I don't think mccabe will get rid of him, i think he will be here till this christmas at least, he won't sack a manager who has just failed to get us un the playoffs no matter what the performances are like.

Blackwell is hiding behind the injurys excuse and i think mccabe will back him.

why are they though??? why would either team leave there respective clubs to come to bramall lane, there isn't any incentive to come as both of them clubs are in the same league position as united and are currently better run clubs.

Come on Scotty, even looking at league position's etc are you telling me Ian Holloway or Sean O'Driscoll would turn down the opportunity to manage the Blades?

Decent crowds, higher wages, better players to work with, easier to attract players to the club. Both would be crazy to turn down either Sheffield club, if neither of us can say we're a bigger fish than Donny or Blackpool, Sheffield football has sunk to an all time low.

Ian Holloway has shown before he is willing to joina 'bigger' club too.
SOD in my opinion, would leave Donny if a higher profile club came in for him.

Not managers of any pedigree, the wednesday job especially has been considered a poisoned chalice for years.

If there is a significant drop in the amount of season ticket holders not renewing, I think Macabe will get the message. That we are unhappy with Blackhead as manager and we do not like the football offered

Just look at Simon Grayson, left Blackpool to drop a division to manage a 'Big Club' (given he played for them etc) but it is possible. All you need to do is find an good manager with a link to SUFC - any ideas?

I honestly think it's different now, but then again I thought United had a chance of promotion and Wednesday's season would be over by now and we'd be in mid-table mediocrity

Give me a break, we've got better players than both Blackpool and Donny, they're just being mis managed which makes it even more frustrating.

As opposed to a fat Keith Chegwin?

I sincerely hope Blackwell doesn't go just yet, praise or grumble just wouldn't be the same, his excuses and tantrums after matches are hilarious! :hihi::hihi:
