Everytime you see flooding on tv, why do they always show someone cycling through the water has anyone else noticed this?

European weather is really messed up floods in Germany, Austria , Switzerland and forest fires in Portugal, Spain and southern France.

If they could get the excess water down to the South West it would sort itself out :)
