Just listened back to RS and heard Edwards rightly questioning why The Blades have had so many injuries this season. As he states it's ok for Blackwell to constantly blame our performance on a lack of a completely fit squad and the fact that he's having to play players who are no more than 80% match fit, however he wants to know why we have so many injuries in the first place??

"No team should have as many players signed off as United have had this season, I mean what do you put this down to?, are they doing the wrong things in training? even the new guys who have come in are getting injured within weeks or even days of arriving at the club. I mean are these players injury prone, is this why their parent clubs are allowing them to leave?....I personally would love to somebody at the club to explain this to me"

It is a question that is being asked quite a lot with no one giving an answer.
The rate of injuries we have had you would think they trained at the silver blades.

We had the same conversation in the pub, many of these injuries were not obtained on the playing field, but in training, hamstrings etc, the coaching and fitness coaches are to blame, building up stanima and fitness at a cost.

When Daley was the fitness coach we had no such injury numbers.

Injuries, loanees, tactics and most of all Blackwell have all contributed to this seasons faliure.

The players that leave don't seem to be injured as much (Sharpe and Reid)!

The players must be knocking themselves senseless by hitting their heads against a brick wall attempting to understand the instructions of an idiot.

We've been there, but we now have a guy who appears to be a decent manager, albeit with a fair amount of idiots under his control. :(
