Other than English Country Cottages?

I'm trying to find a cottage in the Peak (or thereabouts) for a long weekend in November. There are 13 of us in total.

Any help gratefully received.

Hoseasons do a huge range of cottages and wood lodges see the website here (http://www.hoseasons.co.uk)

For a cheap break also try these (http://www.oldenglishinns.co.uk/howtobook2.php) some great location hotels/pubs to stay at - at fantastic prices!!

Welcome cottages are good, I've used them a few times and they've always been ok.

Thanks, I've tried the site.

I've searched using the following terms

Region: Heart of England
Start date: 25/11/05
Nights: 3
No. in party: 13

It brings up two cottages, but when I try and access the further details for them, it tells me my session has timed out.

Can someone else check and see if they have the same problem please?

November is the quietest period of the year for cottage lets so you should have no difficulties getting a good deal at that time of year.

Most of the cottage companies take a minimum of 25% of the rental for advertising their services. You could save quite a sum by cutting out the middleman and contacting some owners direct.

Try

http://www.cressbrook.co.uk/bakewell/bakewellsc.php

for some options. Alternatively call tourist information at Bakewell (01629 813227) who I believe keep a list.
