Blackwell basically states that what with his make shift squad this season due to mass injuries and a squad that in which the majority are loan players all put together and thrown in to play, he feels that it's been a major test of his capabilities as a "Gaffer" and puts it down as his best job to date in the hot seat.

I honestly don't think he's done too bad this season but Blades were expecting more

if he says so:huh: it would help to know who's idea it was to get a team full of loanees in and who chose them, also who's idea it was to sign all the players he decided to sell. i'd of still backed you to finish in the playoffs even with the injuries. to be fair to blackwell i think mccabe has to take some of the blame though

mcabe likes a cheap "yes man" also getting to the prem would mean spending millions...i reckon our chairman is satifisfied with a top half championship side getting 23k through the gates.

McCabe is too tight to pay Blackwell off, it must have cost a few quid to get rid of Robson.
