I only heard about them recently, so if they're still there they'd be the easiest option for me to start going swimming. Only if they're open late though; I don't get home from work till gone 6:00.

Failing that it'll be Ponds Forge or Hillsborough, probably the latter due to the free parking.

What I know of the area is Addy Street, the Medical Centre, and the row of shops with about 12 takeaway places (ok more like 4).

9.00 to 12oo parent and toddlers,women and babys only

12.00 100pm adults only

1.15pm to 2 15pm splash session

2.30pm.400pm available for bookings

400pm.600pm swimming lessons

600pm to 8.00pm evening swim

all above are monday to friday

saturday early morning swim 7.30 am to 10.30 am then its women and girls only until splash session at 1.30pm to 2.30pm then closed unless taking lessons

sunday early swim 7.30 to 900am, disabled only after that until splash session at 1.30pm to 2.30pm then closed entrance is through the library doors turn left on entering the library room and the door you needis in the left hand corner..hope this helps..regards..alan

Good old Upperthorpe Healthy Living Centre. Is not far from my house and VERY close to work and it was well annoying during the period they closed. I can be found swimming there now about 3X a week. Forum swimming meet anyone?!?!?!? (Erm not serious):blush:
