Hi my mum has been recently been diagnosed with early stage alzheimers, basically short term memory, repeating herself. Apart from that and suffering from osteoarthritis she is fine, she goes out for a drink on a weekend with my dad and does housework and is a whiz with numbers and loves bingo. Apart from the repeating and forgetting what shes just done, you wouldnt know anything was wrong. My mum is 80 and dad is 81. They have just finished going to a group session at Grenoside Grange, but it was only for 3 weeks and my dad would like to carry on with some kind of support group. I think he would like to take mum to group meetings but also he would benefit, I think from meetings for carers of people with Alzheimers. Can anyone help
