Any idea what's going on, just walked home and there are police cars blocking off some of the roads near collegiate crescent and park lane, someone mentioned they might have been armed or at least very serious looking.

Radio this morning reporting bomb disposal carrying out a controlled explosion on Broomhall Road.

A suspicious suitcase which turned out to be empty.

I did hear a very loud bang at about half 1 or 2 last night, followed by some police type shouting so could be it.
