Hey all

I'm in the process of building a site using wordpress but i'm having a bit of difficulty with the URL structure.

The site has a static home page with the blog contained at site.co.uk/blog (obviously site.co.uk is not my site but it isn't live yet so site.co.uk will have to do). Anyway the /blog is fine but when i actually write a post it removes the /blog and leaves just the post name so i'm getting site.co.uk/postname.

What i would like to do is have site.co.uk/blog/category/postname and i'm hoping this is possible.

Can anyone offer any help.

Try asking in the Wordpress support forums, they know their stuff there.

In the control panel, under settings, in the general section, check "Wordpress Address" & "Blog Address" are both correct.

Go to 'Settings > Permalinks' in your control panel and choose your preferred option. You can also change this directy in the post as you create it if you have a reasonably new version of Wordpress installed.
