my 3 year old son seems very intelligent he can do his times table up to 12, addition, subtraction, division, he can read and write, he can count well into the thousands he knows all his shapes even 3d ones and colours and what colours mix to make differnt colours. you can have a converstation with him like hes a adult. with him only being 3 hes too young for school but nursery bores him (he takes alphabet cards with him for something to do). i just wanted to know if their was any where he could go because he loves learning and i dont want him to get fed up with it before he stars school.

Wowsers, he sounds amazingly bright. I'm afraid that I don't know where you can take him but I just wanted to say that you are doing the right thing. If he is so bright then you need to make sure he is stretched and doesn't become bored.
Good luck

From what you've said her certainly sounds to be advanced for his age. Google 'Gifted and Talented' and it may come up with some contact details for you. Good luck!

Take him to Australia, his talents will be wasted here. We abuse talented people and replace them with cheap migrant labour. No doubt the migrants are just as talented but due to economic conditions in their own countries are forced to seek work here. Sad but true.

have you thought about looking for ancredited childminder (an acredited minder means that they have completed or are completing and NVQ level 3, they recieved a Good Ofsted grading and have met high quality provision standards) An acredited childminder will be able to offer the nursery funding and because the ratio numbers will be lower than in the room that he is in at nursery his planning can be tailored towards his learning needs (and his apparent thirst for learning!)

Ask to meet with his Key worker at nursery, his planning and/next steps should be based uniquely on him. Ask them how they meet his individual needs and what activities they can provide that will challenge him.

Feel free to PM me

Have you thought about giving him a bit of tuition at home. If you have the time it would probably be very rewarding for both of you.

How about something like ''kumon'' have looked into it for my dd1, they work at childs ability level rather than age. Costly, but might be worth a look.
