From the Ordnance Survey:

The further most point from the sea in the British Isles is at grid reference SK 257144.

This lies just east of Church Flatts Farm, approximately 1 mile south-east of Coton in the Elms, Derbyshire.

By my reckoning this only about 71.5 miles from either East or West coasts.

The nearest Seaside is Cleethorpes and that's bang on an hour away traffic on the M18 and M180 permitting.
