Can anyone help me find out whether this Dixon is the same J Dixon & Son that I keep coming up with in my searches.

I have a serving spoon which has cleaned up really well with silver dip, it is marked with a B in a shield then DIXON and then a trumpetin in a shield.

Any information would really help

Ah right thank you for that. I just wish I could find out what the B stands for as all I am finding on other examples is A1
