Following the 3p almost 10% price hike of a star, is our very own city conscience in print still a worthwhile good read or a waste of money and paper? Should you just wait for the weekly digest that is the telegraph what with its free political propaganda section? (letters page ;) )
Wouldn't wipe me bwutt on it, as its allready full of. . .
On a more constructive level, I'd rather read the metro.
At least with the metro, you haven't paid to read drivvel. . .

Oh no! A whole 3p?
Paper is still surprisingly expensive, and I think the Star's been the same price for aaaaages.
Saying that... I only ever read the jobs section.....
According to the newsagent at Richmond, the paper hasn't gone up in price since 2000.
The advertising costs however have... an average of 10% a year since 2000!
My company (recruitment) used to regularly advertise in the paper but at almost £10 a line in the recruitment lineage section we now ususlly advertise online.
