I walked down there just the other day and I can safely report no ghosts, but there was a good turn out by the squirrels. Very nice road to walk down though, nice and peaceful.

And i'm not sure what you mean by Orb's, is that like the group?! ;)

i grew up in norton so ive heard loadsa stories of ghost sightings. If you go into notron church yard through the entrance infront of the chantry monument if you turn left, and walk along side the wall there's loads of old grave stones that have been leant up against the wall. One of the grave stones has a poem written on it its for a man who lived in the house at the top of bunting nook, the man who lived in the house is supposed to be the ghost that haunts the road. Apparently the ghost can only been seen once a year and thats on the 5th of november (the day he died) what people hae reported to have seen is the man riding a horse and cart, he then falls of the cart and breaks his neck. This is how he died while trying to rush his wife to hospital apprently

Just up from Graves Park.. Just before you come to Matthews Lane IIRC.. I remember the ghost stories from there from way back cos we did an English lesson in the Graveyard when I was at Gleadless Valley, long time ago that, it's 13 years since I left so it'll be at least 15 years since I went.

I used to walk down Bunting Nook road every day on my way to and from college and I didn't find it scary in the slightest.

My uncle however, was walking through there one New Years Eve (before he'd had a drink!) and saw a couple of ladies tending a grave in the church yard late at night. Fair enough, he thought, but why are they wearing old fashioned clothes?

He went back to investgate the grave in the day time and it was from the 1800s.

Maybe his imagination was playing tricks on him but he isn't the type to try and kid people and swears by this story.

My Hubby jogs through there late at night...he has never reported any orbs or ghosts....:o

I was unaware of these stories too and regularly walk or drive along there as my kids attend Norton Free School......ghosts don't usually come out during the day though *I tell myself*!!

That sounds familiar... Did you live just across the road from the school, in Norton, near Laura Ludlow?

I'm sure I remember a girl called Lucia...

Apparently, there's a 'green mist' that haunts Bunting's Nook at night, I've never seen it mind.

I've investigated the Nook Bunting Nook (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3771&highlight=bunting+nook) Orbs are just insects of mosture in the air or dust (see Ant of this forum he loves talking about them)

I'm 26, she was in the year below. Now you mention them, I vaguely remember Sophie and Antonietta as well :)

I left the year before they knocked it down and went over to King Ted's instead so that I could restart my GCSEs (I was worried that we'd just end up with supply teachers and my grades would go down the drain).

How are your sisters doing? Well I hope :)

Er... no. They're not. Flies, dust, water vapour... the list goes on. It's not a spirit you've filmed maxy, don't get too excited. :)
