Went down there for the first time for a few years today it was very nice especially seeing the large amounts of carp and roach in the canal basin. If they wanted to turn sheffield continental style area. I was suprised at about 11.00am how little was going on in the are loads of students and people who had been to the car boot. Certainly more advertising for sunday activites.

I went down there for the first time a few weeks ago.. on a rainy sunday afternoon and sat out with a Corona watching a guy sail his RC boat.. it was pleasant enough.

The place is so well (or should that be badly) hidden that it's usually quiet.

I went there today, i thought it was really nice, the last time i saw it was when it was 1st opened it was quiet then and is still kinda quiet now. Hopefully with the building of the inner relief road more people will go there

Erm, looking at that pic I posted again.... what on earth is with parkhill flats in the background?

Looks like a facelift.
