Hi all,

New to this forum so bear with me!

I currently live in rented accomodation and have a large area of grass that is at the back, side and front of the house (we are a corner plot) However since having all the snow the grass seems to have died and looks awful. We have 2 dogs too so they dont help bombing round!

Im hoping to re-seed the front and side of the house, and then dig up whats left of the back lawn and gravel it. The back of the garden will then be fenced off so the dogs can onlyuse the gravel at the back.

Im needing advice of the cheapest places to get -

Gravel
Trelis
Plants
Tubs

Im hoping to dig over the borders in the side and front and then continue the gravel down and put planters out. Ths is because there isnt really any soil atall its all rutty brick from house build so there is no way i will be able to plant straight into this.

The problems i face are im 5 months pregnant so will struggle doing all of this! Any volunteers would be MUCH apreciated. I also have NO clue about what plans etc are easy to keep and where to buy from. Im also not wanting to spend much given this is a rented house and due to us possibly buying our own property next year we just want a cheap and chearful summer out of this house, that will continue to look good when we move.

Im hoping for some herb tubs as i use these alot in cooking, and then just some bringht easy to keep plants :)

Sorry if this is totaly in the wrong place, but could really use a hand from some garden lovers :) Im in DINNINGTON S25 :) xxx
