Whats your best weapon set up on call of duty 2 online, perks and everything?

Its an old game I doubt many people still play it, get yourself a copy of Modern Warfare 2, thats where its at.

I think the best setup is whatever works for you.
Everyone is different, and there is no "magical setup" to change you from a camping n00b to a God of War.

I have a sneaky suspicion MW2 is what he meant.

Can't recall there being "Perks" in COD 2.

It's not the campers who ruin the games...it's the glitchers and cheaters who ruin it. They're not content with playing a game, having fun, getting shot to pieces every so often they have to cheat their way through it.

I prefer a decent assault rifle along with a good hand gun, loads of extra ammo and some grenades, covers most eventualities :D

Hmm, very dubious about that since on my friends list on an evening out of the 20-30 ppl online, 90% are playing mw2 and the other 10% on different games maybe the odd 1 playing BC2.

Ahh well in that case, my usual; setup on every map is almost the same, I never camp and prefer to run around.

Primary:Scar H or ACR
Secondary:AA12, Akimbo Ranger/1887's or recentley Akimbo rafica's
Equip:frag or semtex
Flash bangs
Perk 1:Bling Pro
Primary equip:Holographic Sight + Noob tube
Secondary equip:Akimbo+extended mags or FMJ
Perk 2:Hardline Pro
Perk 3:Steady Aim Pro
Death Streak:(any)
Killstreak 1:Harriers
Killstreak 2:Pavelow
Killstreak 3:Chopper Gunner/Nuke

With this setup i'm usually top of the board averaging 20-40 kills per match with 5-10 deaths playing either TDM or MTDM.

Still think COD 1+2 are better than both MW's, they had a real atmosphere to them...

MW2 has no vehicles, no destructible environments, little teamplay, small maps, repetitive gameplay etc etc.

Not meant as a way to put down MW2 but people don't know what they are missing.

I for one, and the majority of my gamer list prefer the fast paced action of MW2, to me BC2 is a different type of game.

I prefer a FPS to be more action and less tactical, I like MW2 as a game to unwind with.

I just find MW2 really boring. Shoot/kill/die/spawn over and over again!

Yes, BC2 is more tactical but is furiously hectic most of the time - for example (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8glXKXM3rA4)

I love the fact you can RPG a Helicopter out the sky to see the enemy bail out, then shoot them up as they land.

Or C4 a tower holding a couple of snipers.

Or get to your target on a jet ski!

The fact remains that about twice as many people are online on MW2 than on Battlefield at any one time. MW is still way more popular.

OK, my first post was a tad sarcastic but just saw an opportunity to remind those who like these types of games there is now a (IMO) better alternative out there.

I enjoyed MW2 (and COD4/MW) but they just seem boring now in comparison.

As for the OP, I'm assuming you mean MW2 because Call of Duty 2 had set classes that you couldn't change. My favorite set up at the moment would probably be the Famas with a heartbeat sensor, Spas shotgun as secondary. With Scavenger (for my claymores) stopping power, and commando.

I use an MG4 with red dot and heartbeat with a good old thumper.

What I tend to do is find a nice little spot and pick people off. Some may call it camping, I call it doing it as you would in the real world. I've never known of 2 para to run about like headless chickens but if you wanna do that then fine but I'll shoot you if you do!
