Erm, what do you want to know? I've a book about them but there's loads on the 'net.....? And there's a shop there too, on Pendle Hill, if you venture that way.

I have friends in clitheroe in the Ribble valley close to pendle, their name is Redfern the same name as one of the persecuted 'witches' they don't half get the mickey taken out of them.
They are researching the name and think there is a link, not sure if they will own up to that at the next village fete though.

I've been past the hill they apparently met on and someone pointed out their meeting point and where they apparently set off on their broomsticks.

I watched the MH live when they went to Pendle Hill.. I though it was the best live episode yet!

The amount of crew members who took ill or something happened to them.. absolutely brilliant.

I'm not surprised. Have you ever seen it? I went up there when I visited some friends in Burnley many years ago.

There's a pub up the road from me called (surprise surprise) The Pendle Witch. The bar has a dozen hand-pulls and they're all terriffic! They usually have Kelham Island's Pale Rider on as well!

I was born in Clitheroe and lived in and around Blackburn up until four years ago when I moved to Sheffield. My parents still live in the Ribble Valley and you can see Pendle Hill from their house.

I remember going up to the top of Pendle Hill many times on Halloween when I was younger. None of us ever really believed it was still haunted and thought it was all a tourist ploy. No-one I know has ever seen or heard anything whilst there (or maybe they just wouldn't admit to it!!)

Most of the time there were just people selling witches tat and hot dogs. There is a shop up there tho and an information bit which from what I remember was quite good. There a pub half way up too with lovely views out over the valley. Theres loads of very old stuff around that area - one is an 11 century monastry in Whalley (Whalley Abbey) where ghosts are reported to roam.

I am most definately biased but it is very very beautiful country up there !!!

Algy - straight up the side of the farm and keep going up the track and its on your left in the wood bit before you get to the field. We stumbled across it and it was very spooky some kind of ritual had been going on.
