After losing my cat last year (he was 19yr old) then my dog a few months later - Im now petless.
I'd love another dog, but alas - because of my work comitments - it wouldnt be fair to the poor pooch, however after giving it a lot of thought, Ive decided that my lifestyle would suit a cat. Ive phoned Thornsbery up -to find out 'its not kitten season (I didnt know cats had seasons!) - theres no mad rush - I can wait for the perfect fluff, but I do want a kitten, not an adult cat.
Does anyone have any information of kittens needing homes?

If you're out at work a lot, have two! They're company for one another, esp if they're litter mates. :)

If you get two don't get mixed sex, my tom is constantly trying to hump the girl-cat, despite both being neutered. She does not approve!

They are however curently having a friendly moment of sharing the sofa for a nap but I expect the chase-humping to restart soon enough!

It will very soon be kitten season so I hope you find one (or two, or three!). Maybe visit http://www.thesheffieldcatsshelter.org/ they have lots of kittens over the spring/summer :D

Have been in touch with Pinklady and have said there will be no problem finding two kits for her when the time is right for her and the kits. I will stay in touch with you Pink. Unfortunately there will be loads of kits to choose from. Irresponsible pet owners will ensure this! x

Pinklady has decided to wait until late summer for a kitten. We will have enough kittens in South Yorkshire to accommodate her.
